Quarantining and the Bible

With the corona virus many of us are being told to quarantine but is it biblical. Is quarantining a biblical idea, turns out yes, it is.

He shall remain unclean as long as he has the disease. He is unclean. He shall live alone. His dwelling shall be outside the camp.
(Leviticus 13:46)

So, this verse is talking about a person with leprosy, but what I am getting at is quarantining is fine. Now we can’t take this too far. We must remember Jesus healed many sick people and we know that the laying of hands in prayer is powerful. And in case you are wondering,

you can’t quarantine the gospel, so don’t even try that.

This is a tricky time and we need to pray to know for sure what God has called each of us to do. God has different pans for each of us, some of us he may call to help sick people, others to give out food to people with food shortages, some may be called to continue preaching, still others may just need to sit on their couches, pray and seek God on what He has called you to do.
